Vietnam Opened National Tourism Year With Green Tourism Theme

This year, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism unanimously awarded Binh Thuan province as the host to organize the “National Tourism Year 2023” with the theme “Binh Thuan – Green convergence”.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang was impressed by Binh Thuan’s organizing and said: “This is a crucial opportunity to introduce and promote distinctive cultural values, resources, and tourism products.” Strengthening regional ties, spurring breakthrough development, encouraging tourist growth, developing tourism’s technical infrastructure, and creating stability in terms of social security are just a few of our nation’s characteristics that will help Vietnam draw in foreign tourists. “With the deeply significant topic “Binh Thuan – Green Convergence,” we assert not only the growth of the tourism industry but also the advancement of sustainable, “green” tourism. From there, Binh Thuan becomes a shining example of how tourism is developing throughout the country and in the Central region “the deputy prime minister added.

The province of Binh Thuan was selected by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism this year to host the “National Tourism Year 2023” with the theme “Binh Thuan – Green confluence.” Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang expressed his admiration for Binh Thuan’s structure by saying: This is a big opportunity to offer and develop distinctive cultural values, resources, and tourism goods. Strengthening regional ties, spurring breakthrough development, encouraging tourist growth, developing the industry’s technical infrastructure, and fostering social security stability are all necessary to draw tourists from abroad to Vietnam.

With the very meaningful theme “Binh Thuan – Green Convergence”, we affirm not only tourism development but further development of “green” tourism, and sustainable tourism. From there, Binh Thuan becomes a bright spot in tourism development in the Central region and the whole country”said the Deputy Prime Minister.
