Welcome to Vietnam, you will be collected by our local guide at Noi Bai Airport and transfer to hotel for check-in.
In the afternoon, visit Ho Chi Minh’s complex, the final resting place of Viet Nam’s greatest father; his house-on-stil and One Pillar Pagoda – modeled after a lotus flower, a symbol of Hanoi.
Enjoy 1-hour cyclo around the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake. This is another interesting point of view letting you catch scenes of daily life of city, traders, small restaurants, sidewalks… They are a feast for eyes (dazzled by all these colors), nose (surprised by the spicy flavors of Asia) and ears (to whom are not used to noise and Vietnamese language)…

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Ha Long Bay. On the way, you will see some rural areas of the Red River Delta with plenty of chances to take photos of Vietnamese farmers working in paddy fields.
Stop half way to visit a handicraft workshop of fine clothes and embroidered paintings. Arrive in Ha Long City at 11:30 AM and check in aboard the booked junk right after the welcome drink is served.
Start cruising while having lunch on board and enjoy the mighty bay view. Ha Long Bay meaning Descending Dragon Bay in Vietnamese as legend has it that it was where a holly dragon landed down from sky. The bay, famous as one of the world’s wonders and heritage sites whose formation dates back 500 million years, consists of around 2,000 karst islands and islets scattered over an area of 1,553 km2.
Relax to enjoy the bay view at sunset, have dinner after, go fishing at 09:00 PM and spend a night on board.

In the morning, refresh your body and mind with a Tai Chi exercise on the sundeck at the break of dawn. Have tea and coffee onboard and continue exploring Ha Long Bay sailing across its 2000 islets and visiting some of its major highlights. Normally, check out at 09:30, and have a buffet brunch while cruising back to shore. Disembark at 11:00 AM and transfer back to Hanoi.

8:00 AM Start your day excursion to Bai Dinh Pagoda – Southeast Asia’s largest Buddhist complex – 90 km from Hanoi (2-hour drive). It consists of several temples and over 500 intricately carved statues of Buddha, including one that’s made of bronze and is 10 meters in height. Set within the Gia Sinh Commune, it attracts a huge crowd of local devotees and travelers looking to pay their respects and has their fortunes told by the resident monks.
After lunch, take a relaxing sampan cruise to visit the Trang An was recognized as a natural & cultural heritage site by UNESCO in 2014 thanks to its natural & cultural values and has attracted increasing numbers of tourists year after year. This boat tour is full of exploration of many tunnel caves (9-11 ones of different sizes) and mysterious beauty. You will view the mixture of many caves such as long caves, short ones, lighted caves & dark ones with much surprise & impression during the boat journey.
Return to Hanoi at the end of the day. Overnight at the hotel.

On this day, you are free at your leisure until being transferred to the airport for the departure flight. The room is at your disposal until noon. Meals on your own. End of services.
