Itinerary

Starting at 08:30 / 14:30 with strolling around the Old Quarter; pass by Hoan Kiem lake to admire the peace of city and typical representative of Colonist Architecture – St Josept Cathedral. Then escape from the bustle and hustle street and get to Nha Chung alley, step up on old wooden stairs to reach the second floor of an old French house, where you meet local who has a strong attachment to this house. Engage with him to find out the change of people, life and the deposition in the heart of who has three generations live in this land through pictures & videos.

Continue with a refreshing walk along Phung Hung street parallel to the railroad. Enjoy the beautiful mural paintings highlighting Hanoi life in the old days and the city living’s heritage, before heading to Gia Lam station.

Then, continue down the tracks towards the railway station at the other side of the Red River, and mingle with locals during a ten-minute train ride. Admire the beauty of Vietnam while heading back to the starting point of the day’s adventure.
